     Government demonetizing Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 notes, cash management agencies have started a major exercise that may see Rs. 40,000 crore worth of notes being shifted around in over 2.2 lakh ATM's and hope to normalize operations for the public in two weeks. New currency has a many new features. 
Exclusive features of Rs. 2000 Note
Front Side
  1. Portrait of Mahatma Gandhi in the center.
  2. Color shift windowed security thread with RBI and denominational numeral. Color of the thread changes from green to blue when the note is tilted.
  3. Guarantee clause, Governor's signature with promise clause and RBI emblem towards right. 
  4. Denominational numeral in Devanagari.
  5. Latent image with denominational numeral can be seen when the bank note is held at 45 degree angle at eye level.
  6. Mahatma Gandhi portrait and electrotype watermarks.
  7. Number panel with numerals growing from small to big on the top left side and bottom right side.
