Well, this, of course, is the most highlighted situation on this planet right now. The tension between the two nations is a popular discourse on every lip. There are ongoing verbal spats between the two respective leaders i.e. Kim Jon un and Donald Trump, the involvement of nuclear tests and high voltage threats. Now, talking about the persona of the two leaders they are somewhat alike, being straightforward and proud.
Let me take you back to where it all began, during 2nd World War Korea was Japan?s colony but after the Japanese surrender at the end of World War II, in 1945, Korea was divided into two zones, the north backed by the Soviet and the south backed by the Americans. In 1950 there was a war between North Korea and South Korea, the fighting ended in 1953, prisoners were exchanged but no peace treaty was ever signed. Therefore, the two Koreas continue to remain technically at war and North Korea has certain grudges against America.

North Korea has Kim Jon Un as its leader from WPK(Worker?s party of Korea) and he is the successor of Kim Jon il since 2011, so politics in North Korea has been like a family business. The nation follows the policy of ?self-reliance? and policy of ?military-first? too; moreover, it is an atheist state which makes Koreans a bit hard on the military front. The single-minded thought of unification of Korea and revenge from the US for the Korean war has led to a hostile relationship between the two nations.
In recent years the relations have largely degraded after North Korea?s six tests of nuclear weapons, its development of long-range missiles capable of striking targets thousands of miles away and its ongoing threats to strike the US territory of Guam in the western Pacific and South Korea too. 90 % of the Americans have a negative perception of North Korea. America has 3 aircraft carriers and a submarine positioned and recently Donald Trump while on a trip to South Korea warned North Korea that ?North should not underestimate us and do not try us, I also have come here to this peninsula to deliver a message directly to the leader of the North Korean dictatorship, the weapons you acquiring are not making you safer they are putting your regime in grave danger, it is a hell that no one deserves?, responding to this Kim Jon un said that President Trump will pay dearly for this speech and called him a mentally drained dotard.
The war of words is deepening sanctions escalating. China has also ordered its banks to stop business with North Korea, but China will not intervene directly and will be a passive spectator.
However, USA cannot directly strike on North Korea as it would ruin the economy, increase global stabilization and lead to massive loss of life. Despite all of this if North Korea still launches its nuclear weapons, they are likely to be intercepted and in return, without doubt, it will be the most explosive military reaction since World War II, with China not intervening North Korea will be wiped within weeks.
